The success of a teleserye is on what the viewers look on the story. The phenomenal hit noontime teleserye "Be Careful With My Heart" is the best example.

In the Cheche Lazaro Presents: Si Ser Chief, Si Maya at ang Teleserye, Ricky Lee who is a creative manager of ABS- CBN says, "Yes, we write the story but most of the inputs in the teleserye we also get from the audience. The teleserye villain gains popular acceptance when he or she becomes widely “hated” as in the case of John Regala of “Ina, Kapatid, Anak.”

Moreover, the audience is the basis on how the story will develop. Directors will depend the flow on the story on what the viewers really want.

In an interview with Lita Delos Reyes, a grandmother and a teleserye viewer answered the question; what are the reasons why she watched a teleserye?, she answered, "Libangan pag walang ginagawa, nanunuod hanggang sa magustuhan na".

She also added the things that she will get on a teleserye, she said, "Tungkol sa nagkakaisang pamilya.. na kahit ano mang problema, nagkakaisa.. nalulutas nila ang problema ng sama-sama, ayon kapupulutan ng aral"

Indeed, teleserye has become the way on how Filipinos express their hope, love and hard work in their lives. This industry will never be erased. It is the responsibility of teleserye producers and local TV network to produce a different kind of stories that will still reflect Filipinos' life.
